AENVR management is attending the United Nations International Conference on victims of terrorism, in Vitoria/Gasteiz, Spain, on 8-9 October.  

The conference brings together 400 stakeholders such as victims, and representatives of victims’ associations, support organisations and public institutions from all over the world.

Discussions focus on education as a tool for prevention, peacebuilding and empowerment of victims of terrorism.

Of the many interesting presentations and statements have been made over the two days, the most touching panel was the one on ‘Call to Action by Victims and Survivors of terrorism’, manifested by testimonies of victims of different attacks to bring their personal thoughts about their roles and peacebuilding.
